Step 1
We always begin our treatment plan with a consultation, which usually takes place in person (though you also have the option to do this over the phone or througha video call if more convenient). During this stage, we will outline the treatment in detail and discuss what possible results you could expect throughcarrying out scalp micropigmentation. You will get a chance to ask anyquestions or air any concerns at this point.
Step 2
The second stage will consist of your first treatment session. This starts with a drawn outline of your desired hairline, we believe the time and care taken at this stage is vital to producing a final look that you are completely happy with and which most suits your face shape, age and race. We then mix the ink to create the perfect shade for you, in line with your existing hair colour. Thescalp micropigmentation treatment begins at this stage, starting from the front of the new hairline, working backwards. The coverage at this stage will be minimal, as this is a permanent treatment, you can always add more, but you can’t take away what has been done.
Step 3
The third stage you will be ready for your second session, this will be between 7 and 14 days after the first treatment. During this second scalp micropigmentation session, you will find that some of the pigmentfrom the initial session will have fallen out. This is an expected part of the process that occurs as a result of your immune system breaking down the pigment. This is why it is necessary to layer the pigment across the three tofour sessions, filling in any gaps as we go along. During this stage, we can still adjust the hairline, making it lower, or amend the colour if necessary. It alsoinvolves creating more density and blending the treatment into any existing hair.
Step 4
The third and fourth sessions complete the process in the final fourth stage. There is a longer gap between treatments, leaving approximately four weeks before the third session, which focusses on increasing density and matching the consistency of any existing hair follicles. We put any finishing touches and blend as much as required. Should you require a forth session, this will take place between eight to twelve weeks after the third session. At this time, your scalp would have finished healing and you will have resumed everyday activities. Should you opt for a forth treatment, this will be at a reduced price and any areas that require a touch-up will be added, as well as any final detailing.
